Chiragh, lone Indian to make cut in Austria

A round of 72 in the saw Chiragh Kumar move to a creditable tied 15 at the midway stage before he dropped to tied 52nd as he was the only Indian to make the cut at the Lyoness Open in Austria.

Chiragh a one-time winner on Asian Tour crashed to 75 in third round and dropped to tied 52nd. He will now need a solid final round to make some impact.

Chiragh was the only one of the four Indians to make the cut. Jeev Milkha Singh (74-74) and Shiv Kapur (76-72) missed the cut by one shot, while Himmat Rai (75-78) was way behind after 36 holes.
 

Zander Lombard will take a narrow one-shot lead into the final round of the Lyoness Open powered by Sporthilfe Cashback Card after firing a 68 on Saturday.

The South African heads into Sunday's final round on 11 under par after mixing seven birdies with a triple bogey - the only blemish in an otherwise perfect round.

China's Ashun Wu is a shot behind the 21 year old on ten under, with Adrian Otaegui and Gregory Bourdy another stroke back.
