Union Minister T Chiranjeevi today criticised YSR Congress Party chief Y S Jaganmohan Reddy, who has been in jail in connection with the disproportionate assets case.
"Despite being in jail for one year, Jaganmohan Reddy has shown no signs of repentance for the irregularities and malpractices he had indulged in. He continues to defend himself," Chiranjeevi said during the Eruvaka (seed sowing) programme at Etukuru village near Guntur.
On Congress' victory in the Karnataka Assembly polls, he said, "The electorate in Karnataka refused to renew the mandate in favour of the corrupt BJP reign."

At an another function at Tadikonda village in Guntur district, he said, "Agriculture continues to be the backbone of the country's economy, despite the strides made in the industrial sector, especially in IT."
The minister claimed that the Andhra Pradesh government as well as the Centre have launched several schemes to boost agriculture and to better the lot of the farmer.
"The Congress is the only party committed to the welfare of farmers," he added.
Union Minister of State for Finance J D Seelam, Andhra Transport Minister and APCC president Botsa Satyanarayana and other leaders were also present on the occasion.
