Actress Chloe Moretz is in awe of her fellow young actresses and thinks the current crop of leading ladies are stronger than ever.

The "Kick-Ass 2" star is proud to be part of the current crop of young big screen actresses, including Lawrence, 22, and 21-year-old Shailene Woodley and thinks they have worked hard to earn respect in Hollywood, reported Contactmusic.

"It's amazing ... I think young Hollywood right now, rising Hollywood, is a really strong group of girls. I think it's really cool that we really are showing people who we are and we're not taking no for an answer.

"We're forcing our way through into slots that weren't even there. We're kicking old ideals out and bringing in new age ideas of what it means to be an actor in the 21st Century," she said.

The 16-year-old beauty is determined to be famous for her talent and not as a celebrity like troubled former child star Lindsay Lohan.

"From the '80s to the early 2000s, that was a huge jump in acting styles and actors and what it meant to be a celebrity. Everything was kind of flipped on its head. Now the common celebrity is nothing of what it meant to be - now you have reality stars and everything else.

"It's an inflated celebutante business now. It's like we're having to flip it on its head [again] and having to be a non-celebrity ... Kind of the opposite of what it was in the early 2000s.
