A court here released the helicopter, which was sealed by the police four days ago as it landed at a city hotel helipad without prior permission of local authorities during the shooting of an advertisement featuring actor Saif Ali Khan.

"The court directed aviation company representatives to furnish a security bond worth Rs 1.25 crore to get possession of the helicopter. The company completed the formalities and the helicopter took off for Delhi today," SHO Amer Suresh Chand Jangid said.

The helicopter was to be used for the shooting of an advertisement featuring actor Saif Ali Khan in a hotel on Delhi highway on Saturday for which the local authorities denied permission on some technical grounds.

However, the local co-ordinators of the shooting tempered with the letter given by the police, which stated that the permission is not granted, and e-mailed it to the aviation company saying the local authorities had given clearance for the landing.

On the basis of the doctored document, the helicopter landed at the helipad in the hotel on Saturday and was seized by the police.
