Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan today expressed sorrow over the demise of former Lok Sabha Speaker P A Sangma.
"Sangma had a very sound knowledge of parliamentary issues. He was an important and sensitive public representative of the North East," Chouhan said.
Paying rich tributes to Sangma, he described him as a multi-faceted personality, an able administrator and the one who devoted himself for the welfare of the poor.

Sangma, 68, died in New Delhi today following a massive heart attack.
