Chouhan to inaugurate film festival in Indore on Feb 26

Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan will inaugurate 'Chitra Bharti Film Festival' here on February 26.

The festival will screen films on social issues and environment conservation. Actor Manoj Joshi and Malayali film director Vinod Mankara will also be present for the inaugural function, a release issued by the festival organisers said today.

The aim of the festival is to promote young directors by bringing them on a common platform, it said.

A total of 237 films in different arts were submitted for the festival and among them 110 films were shortlisted which include 60 short-films, 30 documentaries and 20 animation films, the release added.
