R&B singer Chris Brown has been charged with hit-and-run which may end up putting him in jail for six months.
It is the latest in legal troubles for the 25-year-old singer, who is currently on probation for assaulting former girlfriend Rihanna in 2009.
According to Los Angeles city prosecutors, Brown has been officially charged with two misdemeanors, driving without a valid license and hit-and-run, relating to a May 21 incident.

The news comes a day after Brown was accused of assaulting a woman at Heat Ultra Lounge in Anaheim, the Hollywood Reporter said.
Brown had rear-ended another car with his Range Rover and he failed to exchange information with the driver, said Frank Mateljan, a spokesman for the Los Angeles city attorney's office.
The singer was driving without a valid license, and left the scene without producing a driver's license or proof of insurance for his vehicle.
If convicted of all charges, Brown could spend six months in jail.
