Chris Brown releases new song for victims of police brutality

Singer Chris Brown has unveiled a new song "My Friend" following the fatal shootings of Alton Sterling and Philando Castile.

Brown, 27, shared a link to the song on Instagram along with the caption, "This song I released for free for anybody dealing with injustice or struggle in their lives."

Another heartfelt song by the "Loyal" hitmaker called "A Lot of Love" also surfaced online on Thursday, July 7, reported Billboard.

He then posted a Daily News cover story featuring a bloodied Alton Sterling with a cop pointing a gun at him.

Later, Brown posted a personal video sharing his thoughts on the killings of Sterling and Castile and said we need to come together as a people to do something to change the situation.
 

"Retalliation in the form of violence wasn't the answer," he concluded.
