Actor Chris Hemsworth has wrapped up the shooting for the female-centric reboot of "Ghostbusters".

The "Thor" star, who was signed up to play a receptionist in the film, took to Twitter to announce the wrap saying he 'had a blast' and 'never laughed so much,' reported Aceshowbiz.

The 32-year-old Hollywood heartthrob posted a photo giving thumbs up signs while posing next to two crew members.

"Just wrapped @Ghostbusters. Such an amazing cast and director. Had a blast. Never laughed so much in my life," he captioned the picture.

In the reboot, Hemsworth plays the Ghostbusters' secretary, a role originated by Annie Potts in the 1984 movie.

Directed by Paul Feig the comedy movie is scheduled to release in July, 2016.
