Chris Pine is all praise for his "Wonder Woman" director Patty Jenkins and the actor says the helmers has done her job "beautifully".

The 35-year-old actor is thrilled with how things are going so far, reported People magazine.

"Patty is just directing the daylights out of it. It's shot beautifully. It feels so wonderfully period, but also with this wonderful pop sensibility.

"The costume design is incredible. It is incredible. We have scenes with like 500 extras all in period dress and I've never actually been on a film with extras casting as beautifully done as it is on this film," Pine said.

The superhero movie takes place around WWI, and the "Star Trek" star says the film has gripping themes.

"It's going to be a great fun, film with some incredibly deep, interesting and morally relevant themes," he said.
