The 31-year-old singer, who has attracted a huge amount of publicity for her current weight, said that she is comfortable in her own skin and hopes her struggle will empower other women, reported Sun online.
"I'm always in support of someone who is willing and comfortable in their own skin enough to embrace it. Embracing your body is so important, especially as a woman. In this business we are so analysed and judged," Aguilera said.
"It's wonderful to be in a position and have that side of myself that I can latch on to and empower other women. The older you get, the more important it is to embrace your body and your sexuality," she added.
