Veteran actor Christopher Lee has released a new Christmas song.

The 92-year-old megastar released his new song 'Darkest Carols, Faithful Sing' which is a take on the famous Christmas carol 'Hark! the Herald Angels Sing', reported Contactmusic.

"At my age, the most important thing for me is to keep active by doing things that I truly enjoy. I do not know how long I am going to be around, so every day is a celebration and I want to share it with my fans," he said.

Last Christmas, he released a song 'Jingle Hell' that reached No 18 on Billboard, making him the oldest performer in the history to have charted.

Lee has starred in 300 films which includes 'The Lord of The Rings', 'Star Wars', 'The Hobbit: The Battle of The Five Armies' in his six-decade career.
