In the fourth such incident in the recent past, a church was vandalised by two unidentified men in west Delhi's Vikaspuri area in the wee hours here today sparking outrage among the Christian community.
The incident, which took place at 4:19 AM at 'Our Lady of Graces Church', was caught on CCTV camera. Police have registered a case against two unidentified men for deliberate and malicious acts intended to outrage religious feelings at Vikaspuri Police Station and efforts are on to nab the attackers.
"At 4:19 AM, two persons came on a motorcycle and scooter, the one on the scooter walks toward the church and breaks a glass pane with a punch. He is seen leaving in the footage only to return a minute later and pulling down a statue," said Father Balraj of the church where the incident took place.

"A police team led by senior officials soon rushed to the spot. A crime and forensics team picked circumstantial evidence from the crime scene. We have recorded the statements of Father Balraj and other people and a case has been registered," said a senior police official.
The official also said that police suspect that the attackers were drunk and the incident could have been done to fulfill a bet placed among drunken friends as the person who broke the glass pane is seen bowing his head and folding hands before committing the act.
Police have taken the CCTV footage in its custody and efforts are on to identify and nab the two persons.
"This is very clear that it is a planned and orchestrated attack which is caught on CCTV. It is up to the police now to take strict action in the case," said Father Savarimuthu Sankar, spokesperson of the Delhi Catholic Archdiocese.
