Upbeat after their win against New Radiant, Churchill Brothers have their task cut out when they face Home United of Singapore in Group E league match of the AFC Cup at Nehru Stadium here tomorrow.

Churchill Brothers, who lost their opening encounter against Persipura Jayapura of Indonesia, came back strongly in their last match to beat New Radiant 3-0. They have scored three points from two matches, the same as New Radiant, and are placed second on head-to-head count.

Persipura Jayapura are leading the table with four points from two matches, while Home United, with one point from two outings, are at the bottom.

Churchill Brothers coach Mariano Dias was pleased with the performance of his team in AFC Cup, particularly in the last match against New Radiant.

"We have full squad at our disposal with keeper Lalit Tapa and Charan Singh back in the side after injuries. Striker Balwant Singh has also recovered from his injury but will play in the latter part of the match. Cristhian Lagos who had a good match against New Radiant scoring two goals will start along with Anthony Wolfe upfront," said Dias.

He said the team was well prepared to face Home United and not underestimating their opponents.

"Home United is a good side and have played well in their last match against Persipura to whom they drew 1-1. They have four good players including South Korean Leekwan Woo who has represented the country, China's Qiu Li and Sirina Camera, their youngest player, can make difference in the team. We are well prepared to face them tomorrow," said Dias.

He said winning tomorrow's tie was crucial for moving forward for his team as "the win will boost our confidence to play our next match against them on 2nd April".

Home United's South Korean coach Lee Liu Saeng, who represented the country in 1998 World Cup, said the team would have to play their best game to tame the challenge of Churchill Brothers.
