Churu coldest at at 6.4 degree C

With northerly cold winds sweeping across the state, people in Churu experienced the coldest night in Rajasthan where the minimum temperature plummeted to 6.4 degree C last night, a MeT report said.

Mercury dipped by two to four degree C at all places places due to arrival of winter winds in the state, the report said.

While on hills, Mount Abu recorded a minimum of 9.4 degree C followed by Sriganganagar 8.8 deg C, Pilani 10.4, and Jaipur 15.4 degree C.

The minimum temperature was between 16 to 19 degree C in the other parts of Rajasthan.

Cold conditions will intensify by weekend as northerly winds continue to sweep the state, the forecast said.
