Churu was today recorded as the coldest place inRajasthan recording a minimum of 1.6 degree Celsius followed by Pilani which shivered at 2.6 degrees Celsius.
Barring a few places, night temperatures have increased by a few notches in the state where some areas in Bikaner division are in the grip of cold wave.
Sriganganagar, Phalodi, Vanasthali, Sikar, Alwar and Bikaner recorded minimum temperatures at 3.2, 3.5, 4.6, 5, 6.6 and 6.8 degrees Celsius respectively while in Jaipur, Jaisalmer, Ajmer and Kota, the night temperature was 7.2, 8.5, 9 and 12.4 degrees Celsius respectively, according to MeT department here.
The weather conditions would remain the same during next 24 hours.
