The 12 year-old girl had gone missing from her house located on Jawahar Lal Nehru road under Town police station area since September 18 last year, they said.
The missing girl's parents Atulya and Maitreyi Chakravarti have demanded a CBI probe in the matter, but have refused to blood samples for matching with the DNA test of a skeleton recovered from the Chakravarti's home on November 26 last.
The Muzaffarpur police had subsequently filed a petition in the local court with a prayer that the missing girl's parents be directed to give blood sample for carrying out the DNA test of the skeleton and the Chief Judicial Magistrate (CJM) S.P.
