One person was arrested and poppy seed products worth more than Rs 10 lakh seized from him by a team of West Bengal CID from Burdwan district today.
Officials said a CID team along with officials of Narcotics Control Bureau jointly raided a hotel at Rajbandh near NH 2 in Burdwan district last night and seized the poppy seed products from the possession of its owner and arrested him.
The seized products were valued at more than Rs 10 lakh and were collected from Malda district to be sent to Haryana and Punjab, they added.
