The anti-corruption bureau here today arrested an officer with the planning body CIDCO while taking a bribe from a contractor.
Sandeep Dhamne (42), an assistant engineer, was caught red-handed while taking the bribe at CIDCO's Kharghar Nodal office this afternoon.
Additional Superintendent of Police Shrinivas Ghadge said in a press release that Dhamne had sought Rs 12,000 from the contractor engaged by CIDCO for housekeeping work at the CIDCO Golf Course for clearing his bills.
