CII's SME finance facilitation centre launched in Coimbatore

An SME finance facilitation centre was today launched by industry body CII here to provide advisory and credit facilitation support to its member companies in this industrial belt.

The Centre, launched by the local chapter of the industry body, will operate as a one-stop-shop, aggregating financing options from multiple large financial institutions, CII Deputy Director Amit Tripathy said.

It would match the SMEs' financing demands with the banks and financial institutions, and also project large requirements for finance across financial institutions, provide facilitating role for SMEs to approach the process of accessing funds in a more professional manner, he said.
 

CII has partnered with DCB Bank, Indian Overseas Bank, Indian bank, Federal Bank, Reliance Capital, Muthoot, to support members in availing funds for their business growth and expected to sign MoUs with many more banks, he added.

The Centre is also expected to launch SME Insurance vertical in January next and currently it has signed MOU with IFFCO,Tokyo.
