The 148-personnel squad was led by Assistant Commandant Deepak Mani Tripathi and it marched to the tune of 'Saare Jahan Se Achcha' played by the force band as it revelled the audience on January 26.
"This is the third time that CISF Contingent has won the best marching trophy. Earlier the force contingent got the same honour in 2007 and 2008," CISF Deputy Inspector General Jaideep Prasad said.
The Central Industrial Security Force (CISF), with almost 1.50-lakh personnel in its ranks, guards vital government and private installations including those related to aerospace and nuclear power.
