The Director General (DG), who was accompanied by senior officials of the force including Metro DIG Udayan Banerjee, visited busy stations like New Delhi, Kashmere Gate, Shastri Park, Shivaji Stadium and other stations on the Airport Express Metro line.
The DG also visited the operations control room of the Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC) and that of the Central Industrial Security Force (CISF).
"The DG also checked the prepardness of the security gadgets deployed for Metro security and inspected the training facilities given to the troops deployed on the network," a senior CISF officer said.
