ASI Thakur Prasad (60), who was to retire in September this year, shot himself with his official revolver while he was on duty at the pump house of NTPC in Kahalgaon, CISF commandant B S Jain said.
Prasad was a resident of Kaimur district and apparently under depression for the last several months.
