The Jammu and Kashmir council and Kashmir Groups of citizens (JKACKGC) also backed the demand for a hike in the monthly relief amount given to the Kashmiri Pandits.
A JKACKGC delegation led by president Sanjay Saraf met the protesters sitting on a dharna demanding regular water and electricity supply in the township and extended support for their cause.
"We strongly support the demands of Jagti protesters for hike in relief and smooth power and water supply to Jagti township", Saraf said.
Situated in Nagorta area on the outskirts of Jammu, the 4,200-flat Jagti township was inaugurated last year as part of Prime Minister's special package to provide better housing to the displaced Kashmiri Pandits living in various camps.
