Virtualisation solutions firm Citrix today announced the appointment of Parag Arora as its Area Vice President for the India Subcontinent.
As part of his new role, Arora will be responsible for driving Citrix's business with enterprise and field sales, consulting services, technical pre sales and the post sales functions across India, Sri Lanka and Bangladesh, it said in a release.
Arora has been with the firm for over two and a half years and was leading its enterprise and public sector businesses, it added.

Samsung donates Rs 3 cr to PM's National Relief Fund for J&K * Korean electronics giant Samsung today said it has donated Rs 3 crore to the Prime Minister's National Relief Fund to aid the relief operations in the flood-hit Jammu and Kashmir J&K).
Samsung shares the concern of the people of India about the grim situation in the state of Jammu & Kashmir, the company said in a statement.
"Prime Minister has declared the situation a national disaster and the need of the hour is for all of us to help in whatever way we can. This small donation is our contribution towards bringing relief to the people of the state," Samsung South West Asia President and CEO B D Park said.
The cheque was handed over to the Prime Minister's Office today by Chief Spokesperson of Samsung India Hyunwoo Bang.

Debashis Chatterjee completes 5 year term as IIM-K Director * Debashis Chatterjee, who completed his five-year term as Director of IIM Kozhikode (IIMK), today handed over charge to the senior most faculty of IIM Kozhikode, Kulbhushan Balooni.
Though his term got over in April, he had got an extension till July this year.
Chatterjee has been a dynamic force of change at IIM Kozhikode and looks at the real value that education brings to society, an IIM-K press release said.

The company through its CSR arm Srinivasan Services Trust has tied up with Sri Ramachandra Medical College and Research Institute (SRMC & RI), Chennai to provide the medical aid.
Sri Ramachandra Medical College and Research Institute, will be sending 40 doctors and medicines worth Rs 30 lakh.
