Hundreds of Centre of Indian Trade Unions (CITU) workers today expressed solidarity with the agitating workers in Kinnaur district.
The CITU workers gathered near the AG's Office Chowk and marched to Sandal point. They squatted there.
The workers of Shongtong hydropower project in Kinnaur district are on strike for past 46 days, demandingpayment of wages, reinstatement of workers and implementation of labour laws and have accused the state government of siding with the contractors.
