A three-time elected chairman of Shikarpur city board has alleged that she was thrown out of the 'Janata Darbar' function held here by the District Magistrate for speaking in a high-pitched tone.
According to Rajbala Saini, Shikarpur city board's chairman, she had visited the 'Janata Darbar' held by District Magistrate B Chandrakala last evening to put across her points regarding a corruption complaint made against her related to a link road which was constructed by the city board, costing it Rs 22 lakh.
Saini alleged that the District Magistrate snubbed her for talking loudly and later ordered the security staff to "take her away from the spot".
