City girl becomes youngest Indian to compete in cue sports

With her trip to South Korea for the Indoor Asian Games, Keerath Bhandaal, a 16-year-old city girl, has become the youngest ever Indian to represent the country in Cue Sports at this level.

Bhandaal, a student of DPS, Vasant Kunj, will be competing in Incheon.

She has already represented India in 9 Ball Pool (under 19) World Championship in Germany, where she was ranked World Number 7.

She represents Delhi in cue sports in the National Championships and has achieved the India number two ranking in senior ladies billiards in 2013.

Besides, she is currently also the India number 3 in senior ladies snooker and number 3 in senior ladies 8 ball pool.
 

The cueist is the Indian number 1 in both billiards and snooker in under-21 category.
