A 17-year old underprivileged girl from the city, Bhavna has been selected in the 10-member squad that will travel to the United States for brushing up their technical soccer skills for 14 days.
Bhavna lives in the resettlement colony in Trilokpuri area and has represented Delhi in 2014 under-17 tournament.
It's a dream come true moment for Bhavna as she has no financial support to pursue her game because her father is a daily wage car driver.
The programme is sponsored by Non Governmental Organisation, Magic Bus which aims to move children out of poverty through its childhood and livelihood initiative.
The 10 selected girls from all over India will get football training from former international football player of US, Judi Fowdy from July 9 to July 25.
