Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal today stressed on the need for establishing more working women's hostels and old-age homes in the city.
Inaugurating "Aashirwaad", an old-age home constructed by New Delhi Municipal Council (NDMC), here the Delhi Chief Minister expressed hope that "proposals for old-age homes and working women's hostels will be passed without any delay."
"There is a strong need for more working women's hostels in Delhi as women feel insecure in the city," he said.

NDMC chairperson Naresh Kumar said the old-age home has been constructed to increase the capacity as "these are very popular among senior citizens in the national capital".
This old-age home can accommodate 60 senior citizens and has facilities like meditation centre, dispensary and a dining space, he added.
