City report: Intoxicated Rob Ford threatened guard

A report released by Toronto City Hall says Mayor Rob Ford was intoxicated at City Hall this past St Patrick's Day and made a threat against a guard who had reported the mayor for similar behavior two years ago.

The report released yesterday says Ford visited the desk at City Hall on March 15 and handed out St Patrick's Day beads. The report says that using slurred speech, Ford threatened to "get" a guard who reported that on St Patrick's Day two years ago, the mayor was walking around City Hall with "a half empty bottle of St-Remy French Brandy."

Ford took a leave of absence this week and checked into rehab after a report surfaced of a video apparently showing him smoking crack last weekend.
