Some 600 delegates from 18 countries are likely to attend international conferences on healthcare in the city on September 5 and 6.
Apollo Gleneagles Hospitals CEO Rupali Basu said there will be two conferences -- 4th international congress on patient safety and 5th international conference on transforming healthcare with IT.
"In its endeavour to build awareness about healthcare, Apllo Hospitals, in association with various partners, will be hosting the conferences for the first time in the eastern region," she said.
The conferences are expected to discuss intensively the use of IT for advanced healthcare through telemedicine.
