A civic policeman was arrested for allegedly stabbing a woman constable at Krishnagar in Nadia district, the police said today.
"Somnath Das, a civic policeman, was arrested for stabbing Nirupama Biswas, a woman constable, when she came out of a toilet at Krishnagar station at about 11 pm last night," Superintendent of Police Sabyasachi Raman Mishra said.
The police is in look out for another civic police personnel who was involved in the attack on Biswas, he said.

Biswas was attached with Haringhata police station in the district and was returning home after duty at Krishnagar last night.
She was rushed to Shaktinagar District Hospital where the doctors gave three stitches to her.
The police arrested Somnath Das, a civic police of Kalinagar. He was produced in a local court and was remanded to 14 days police custody.
