The City Civil Court today granted temporary injunction against former Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal and restrained him from making any further defamatory statements against BJP leader Ananth Kumar.
"The Civil Court Judge Mahaswami here has granted Ananth Kumar temporary injunction against Kejriwal and restrained him from making any further defamatory statements against the BJP leader," advocate Dhananjay Joshi told PTI.
BJP General Secretary Ananth Kumar had filed a civil suit on February 17 against Kejriwal for making allegedly defamatory statements against him.

Kejriwal had allegedly made several other similar defamatory statements against him in the course of a meeting, he added.
If Kejriwal nakes further defamatory allegations against him, then irreparable harm and prejudice would be caused to him with no alternative remedy, Kumar said.
"As I am one of the senior leaders of BJP, the print and electronic media give a lot of coverage to such controversial developments. Hence, if Kejriwal repeats his allegations against me, irretrievable harm, loss and prejudice would be caused to me," he added.
