"Matters relating to the country are more important than any other matter," he said dismissing the recent agitations by Arvind Kejriwal, without naming him.

Referring to Arvind Kejriwal's charges against Robert Vadra and realty major DLF, Yadav said another scam has come out in the public domain.

On allegations of misappropriation of funds by a trust run by Law Minister Salman Khurshid and his wife, the NDA convener said, "Another scam has been emerging."

Maintaining that he did not know about the authenticity of the charges against Vadra or Khurshid, he cautioned that in the din over these issues, scams in CWG, 2G, coal block allocations and in the functioning of civil aviation ministry should not be forgotten.

He said if amounts involved in scams that have taken place in the last three to four years are put together, the total will come to Rs 5.5 lakh crore, and added that these should not be ignored at the cost of smaller ones.

Asserting that Parliament alone could tackle problems of a huge country like India, he said, "I am of the firm view that the next session of Parliament, the Winter Session, should be for two months to enable discussion on important matters."

The former Civil Aviation Minister was critical of the ministry's role in construction of Delhi Airport, allotment of land and functioning of Air India.

He also said the issue of FDI was very important as it related to employment of 22 crore people in the country.

Yadav alleged that the present UPA government has "broken all records of corruption" and demanded the suspension of some Congress MPs in connection with the "controversial" coal block allocations.
