Some prominent social activists and intellectuals of Hyderabad today announced their decision to form a new civil society organisation named 'Telangana Against Corruption' (TAC).
The organisation is being formed to highlight the alleged anti-people policies of the TRS government and corruption, the TAC said in a release here.
"Telangana was created with great hopes ? after years of struggle. But the hopes are all set to be dashed. What we now have in Telangana is a one family rule at the helm of which is Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao?," it alleged.

"This is a sorry state of affairs that there is no one to effectively raise their voice against the anti-people policies of the government. In view of this, we a group of concerned citizens have decided to create a new civil society organisation called Telangana Against Corruption," it said.
The founding members of TAC includes M Kodandaram, well-known Telangana activist and academic, K Chandrasekhar, advocate and leader of separate Telangana agitation in 1969, Zaheer Uddin Ali Khan, social activist and senior journalist, G Vidyadhar Reddy, former IRS officer and Kingshuk Nag, journalist, it added.
