A Tamil Nadu Civil Supply Corporation Godown Superintendent was today suspended in connection with a case relating to shortage of 95 rice bags, officials said.
The Salem Regional Civil Supply Director suspended Paneerselvam of Udayapatty godown near here, they said.
During a vehicle check last month, 95 rice bags each containing 50kg was found in a lorry. When the godown was checked, the shortage was discovered and Food Cell had registered a case.
