The civil surgeon of Hazaribagh was directed to clear retirement benefits of a nurse, for which she has been running from pillar to post for three years, within 24 hours.
Issuing the direction to the civil surgeon at a janata darbar in this regard here today, Hazaribagh district Deputy Commissioner Mukesh Kumar asked him to explain why the retirement benefits of Uma Devi were not cleared till date.
Devi retired from Chouparan Primary Health Centre three years ago.
