Clash breaks out at juvenile home, two injured

A clash broke out between two group of inmates at a government juvenile home and two persons were seriously injured in the melee here, police said today.

Four persons including three inmates have been booked in connection with the incident that took place on Sunday, they said.

Meanwhile, authorities have also ordered a magisterial enquiry.

Inquiring into the matter, City magistrate V S Rai said, "Juvenile home authorities are considering to shift some inmates to other district."

Two of the accused inmates were in the juvenile home for their involvement in an year old murder case. They were also accused of shooting an eyewitness in the case, they said.
 

The accused were illegally provided with food from outside and two mobile phones have been recovered from them, police said.
