A clash today erupted during a meeting of AAP volunteers at the residence of the party's zonal in charge Gurinder Singh Bajwa after he accused Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal of selling tickets for the upcoming Punjab Assembly elections here.

According to a senior AAP official, Bajwa condemned Kejriwal for removing Sucha Singh Chottepur as the party's Punjab Convenor.

The situation took an ugly turn when Bajwa accused Kejriwal of selling tickets for the upcoming Punjab Assembly elections.

He especially referred to three seats Amritsar South, Ajnala and Attari.

Volunteers led by circle incharge Anil Mahajan stood up from their chairs and strongly objected to Bajwa speaking against Kejriwal and restrained him from using "foul" language.

They also critised Bajwa for "creating indiscipline" in the party.

Many volunteers supported Bajwa and engaged in a scuffle with the people led by Mahajan.

In the melee, the volunteers also threw chairs at each other, resulting in bruises to some. Mahajan too received minor injuries on his face when his spectacles broke during the scuffle.
