A 16-year-old girl was allegedly gang-raped by a college student and his two associates in a hotel in Noida, police said today.

According to Superintendent of Police (City) Shiv Hari Meena, the accused -- Naveen, Aman and Teetoo -- have been arrested and sent to jail.

Giving details of the incident, police said when the girl, a student of Class X, was returning home from tuition yesterday evening she came across Naveen, whom she had earlier met at a wedding and gradually became friend.

According to a complaint filed by the girl's father, Naveen, who is studying BCA, allegedly lured her to accompany him to Noida and took her to a hotel where she was raped by the trio.

After committing the crime, the trio dropped the girl at Vijay Nagar and fled. Traumatised, the girl reached home and narrated the ordeal to her family members.

Police have lodged an FIR under Sections 376 (punishment for rape) and 363 (punishment for kidnapping) of the IPC.

The girl has been sent for medical examination, Meena said.
