Classes at National Institute of Technology (NIT), Srinagar are likely to resume next week several months after educational activity came to a close because of the law and order situation in Jammu and Kashmir.
Official sources said it is expected that the institute will again start functioning on November 28.
They said classes may also resume in some other important educational institutions in the state.
Special classes will be held to make up for loss of academic activity, they added.
