Delhiites today woke up to a pleasant morning with the minimum temperature settling at 21.3 degrees Celsius, nearly three notches below normal.
According to meteorological department, relative humidity recorded till 8:30 AM was 46 per cent.
The department has predicted that the sky will remain clear during the day.
"The sky will be mainly clear and mercury is expected to settle as high as 40 degrees Celsius, a little above normal temperature for the ongoing season," official said.
The average maximum temperature for the ongoing period is 39.9 degrees Celsius.
Yesterday, the minimum temperature was recorded at 21.3 degree Celsius while the maximum temperature had settled at 39.5 degrees Celsius, 0.6 degrees Celsius above average normal temperature for the period.
