Clear sky, shallow fog likely in Delhi on Monday

It was a sunny day in the national capital on Sunday and the maximum temperature settled at 20.5 degrees Celsius, two notches below the season's average.

The morning was cold as the minimum temperature was recorded at 6 degrees Celsius, three notches below average, officials said.

The humidity oscillated between 100 and 56 per cent.

On Monday, there will be shallow fog in the morning and the sky is expected to remain clear through the day, according to the weather office.

The maximum and minimum temperatures would hover around 21 and 6 degrees Celsius respectively, weathermen said.

On Sunday, the city's Air Quality Index (AQI) at 9 am was 223, which falls in the 'poor' category, the Central Pollution Control Board (CPCB) said.

 

Saturday's maximum temperature was recorded at 22 degrees Celsius while the minimum temperature was 5.7 degrees Celsius.
