The marriage of a Muslim girl in Shamli district with a boy in Saudi Arabia was solemnised by clerics via video conferencing here.
According to the bride's father Rehan, the marriage was scheduled for May 5 in the district, but the bridegroom, Mohammed Abid could not reach the venue on time.
"So we took the help of technology to solemnise the marriage yesterday," he said.
The family members of the couple were present on the occasion.
