A clerk was today arrested by sleuths of Anti-Corruption Bureau of Rajasthan Police for accepting a bribe of Rs 2000 from a Technician to clear his salary arrears.
The Lab Technician had complained that Shiv Karan, a lower division clerk posted at the Block Health Office in Navalgarh of Jhunjhunu district, had demanded half of the arrear of his three months' salary for clearing the bills, ACB spokesperson said here.
A trap was laid by ACB and Karan was caught red-handed while accepting the bribe from the complainant, she said.
A case under the Prevention of Corruption Act was lodged against the LDC, the Spokesperson added.
