Actor-director Clint Eastwood is reportedly in talks to direct "Jersey Boys".
The 82-year-old director postponed a remake of "A Star Is Born" to focus on the musical film about the band Frankie Valli & The Four Seasons, said the Hollywood reporter.
"Jersey Boys" was originally developed by GK Films at Columbia Pictures before Graham King, the founder of GK Films, moved it to Warner Bros. In 2012, Jon Favreau was attached to direct the film when Warner Bros put it into turnaround.

Names like John Magaro, Dominic Cooper, Vincent Piazza, Paul Dano and James Badge Dale were on the list, but it's unknown if they are still in the race to star in the film.
Based on the popular and acclaimed stage show with a script by John Logan, "Jersey Boys" tells the musical tale of Frankie Valli and the Four Seasons, from their rise to fame to their eventual split.
