50-year-old Clooney and Roberts, 44, are taking legal action against Digital Projection, Inc. And Beyond Audio bosses after photos of the pair allegedly appeared on the business' websites, brochures and newsletters, reported Femalefirst.
"Defendants prominently used large photographs of Plaintiffs in Defendants' advertising, marketing and promotions including print advertisements published in numerous magazines over the past several months.
"Accordingly, Defendants are liable to Plaintiffs for the infringement of their publicity rights, privacy rights, and trademark rights," court papers stated.
The Hollywood actors are demanding unspecified compensatory damages, in addition to punitive damages and attorneys' fees. They are also seeking an injunction to prevent the firms from using their names and images in future. PTI CORR
