Actor George Clooney and producer Grant Heslov are reteaming to produce the remake of 'Pioneer' for which Sony pictures is in negotiations to pick up the rights.
The Norwegian thriller which is set in 1980s during Norway's oil boom will be produced by Smokehouse Pictures, a production company founded by Clooney and the 'Argo' producer, reported The Hollywood Reporter.
Directed by Erik Skjoldbjaerg, the film starred Aksel Hennie and also featured Wes Bentley and Stephen Lang.
'Monument's Men' which is the latest production by their banner Smokehouse has grossed USD 22 million.
