Cloud, smog cover in Delhi stays; rain forecast for tomorrow

Delhi continued to be enveloped by cloud and smog for the third consecutive day today, even as the weatherman predicted light rains or thundershower in some areas tomorrow.

The maximum and minimum temperatures in the national capital dropped to two degrees below the average.

The maximum temperature was recorded at 27.5 degrees Celsius while minimum was 12.9 degrees Celsius, the Met Department said.

The humidity level oscillated between 44 per cent and 96 per cent.

Smog continued to envelope the city, but Met officials said that it may dispel if the city receives rains.

The department also predicted very light rains or thundershower in some area till tomorrow afternoon.
 

The maximum and minimum temperature is likely to be around 25 and 14 degrees Celsius, respectively.
